Almeric Road was bought as an unmodernised 4-bedroom terraced house. Extensive work was carried out to turn this space into three flats. To create Flat 1, a basement was dug out to create 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a utility area. On the ground floor a wraparound extension was built at the rear of the property to form the open plan kitchen and living space. At the front of the property there was a structural reorganisation to produce the master bedroom, a walk-through wardrobe and a large en suite. The garden was landscaped to best utilise the space that was there.
Flat 2 was a two-bedroom flat; to create this space a structural reorganisation of the space took place to make 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and an open plan living space.
Flat 3 was also a two-bedroom flat but it was spread over 2 floors. On the first floor, a rear addition extension was built to create the second bedroom, and next to this was the bathroom. Half a floor up was the large open plan kitchen, living space. Above this, the loft was converted to create the master bedroom with an en suite. We utilised the flat roof of the rear addition to give the flat some outside space in the form of a roof terrace.
New electrics, plumbing, insulation, flooring, soundproofing and windows were installed throughout.
